Hi, the new 2017 Camaro 2ss is coming to the garage so my beloved GTO has to go !
I have been offered $17,132 for it by a dealership in fullerton California which is a low price but it is cash so i am going to drive down there on MONDAY and sell it, just because it is easy. If you wnt to come over with a cashers check for $18,000 before that, you will get a great deal. there is one at another dealer also in fullerton CA for $20,999 and it has 60,000 miles on it !!!
Hi again, so to answer some of the questions, i am the second owner, this is my 3rd GTO all basically identical, no crashes no issues no worries. Paint is near perfect, there is one small scratch on the rear bumper where someone bounced a shopping trolley into it most likely, took a bit of the paint off. If you know these cars you will know there are two things that become issues over time, one is the paint on the door handles begins to flake off and reveal the handle underneath, and the other is there is too much stuffing in the back seats and in hot weather it expandes and the stitches break at the top of the back seat near the headrests. Both of these have begun to occur with this car, exactly as it did on my previous two. Easy fixes which frankly i have not bothered with.
Oil changes every 2000 miles with the good stuff, have replaced the water pump and front pulley's belts because it all got a little dry from non use (11 year old car, 20,000 miles you do the math)
I have been almost the only person in the car, non smoker.
I got a speaker upgrade for christmas so the sound is excellent in it. Did not go the sub woofer route, or change out the base system, just upgraded the speakers installed tweeters sounds FAB.
If you know what they are, they are THE BEST V8 FUN MACHINE you can buy under $20K without any doubt at all.
I have a mustang GT 500 and a Corvette Z 06 and soon to arrive is the Camaro and i can guarantee you this is the best balance of speed, reliability, comfor, performance, even fuel economy from a 6 liter engine that you will find anywhere.
Sorry for the short notice, i am busy and i need to get things moving. I did just get an update from the dealer on the Camaro, it is built but not shipped, and i am travelling 13-18 Sep so i may not have to pay for the arrival until after that, i might extend the sale again if the dealer is prepared to wait a few days for the cash offer, if not, it will be gone tomorrow at 11 am.
