Description

Edit: I was just advised to "black out" the license plates, so that will be done and all the photos will be back up tomorrow, sorry.
So Im the 2nd owner to this Bonneville, 3rd if you count the dealer who bought it at auction -whom I bought it from soon after. Title shows the 1st owner financed it from dealership in '0, shows him as a 67 year old man in CT (where nearly all the roads are immaculate and free of potholes) which puts him at 57 when he made the purchase. He clearly maintained this Pontiac meticulously, kept it garaged, paid it off in 3 yrs and put 165k+/- miles on it before trading it in. I tracked the guy down in the Whitepages after I purchased it to see what he used for oil and fuel; regular gasoline and Mobil1 Advanced Full-Synthetic Oil. Im giving all of this information of course because some of it really helped me to understand it was a good choice to purchase, and may help you as well.
This Bonneville has also been gold to me since day one, my only regret is not having a garage to park it in, so its been parked outside. Ive done nothing mechanically to this car since Ive had it - beyond several oil/filter changes and brake work. I just had front and back pads and rotors replaced YESTERDAY, just to help it sell, as I have not even driven it since I cleaned it. This car NEEDS new tires fairly soon, as the tread is roughly 15-25% left, NOT bald, but low. This thing is a gem and takes off like a rocket in comparison to any other car Ive driven, really powerful, has a beautifully clean rumble to it when idling, and really is visually striking in my opinion. Ok Ive given this vehicle the praise it truly deserves, and now Ill bullet point and detail everything thats wrong with this car, in no particular order:
  • Passenger front bumper has been cracked down low (pictured), and driver's side of front bumper also has a VERY minor crack you can barely see it, but its there. (pictured as well).
  • Wheels have some scuff marks, nothing major. (pictured)
  • Radio Display is somewhat faded and can't see it well in daylight, no problem at night. (pictured).
  • 1 burn mark in the entire car, the ONLY cosmetic issue inside this vehicle, backseat driver's side (pictured).
  • Fuel, temp and battery read incorrectly (pictured). The Oil pressure, Speedometer, RPMs and everything else works. (one pic shows with car running, one shows with car off) Also the digital reading provided of Estimated miles remaining in fuel tank is SPOT ON.
  • Air-Bag light is on.
  • 1 of 2 rear license plate lights flickers OCCASIONALLY

Once again, very happy with this car, and have enjoyed it for the year Ive had it, Ive maintained it well and kept it clean, given its oil changes, most recently was roughly 100 or so miles ago @ 178,626. Mobil1AFS of course and a K&N filter. If you buy this vehicle you must pay for it before I release the vehicle, via Paypal or cash in person. I will not pay shipping but if you wish to have it shipped thats fine but you must set it up yourself and pay the shipping cost, I will do all I can to assist with making that go smoothly on my end, Id even go as far as to drop it off at a shipping center even an hour away or so, as opposed to my house if that saves the buyer some money, Im easy to work with. Any more questions please ask and I will get back to you ASAP. The car is also listed locally and if purchased the ads will come down straight away. Thanks in advance, Jeff.
