Description |

This is a '75 Pontiac Trans Am with a (believed to be numbers matching) 400ci engine and a TH-350 automatic transmission. The actual mileage is unknown but the engine and transmission have recently been rebuilt. It runs and drives great and is a clean fun car to drive. Not a show winner but great for cruise nights or daily use. See below for a detailed description.
Exterior:The exterior of this T/A is nice with recent paint and decals. It does have a few blemishes on the body (see pictures) and doesn't have any major dents or scratches. The chrome on the T/A is driver quality, the windows work as they should, the windshield does have a small chip in it. The shaker hood shuts nice (screen at the rear of the shaker is missing), the trunk lid shuts nice, passenger door shuts nice, drivers door fitment isn’t perfect but functions as it should (very typical of these cars).
Interior: The interior of the T/A is in nice condition. It has a new headliner and new door panels, the seats are in nice condition and are very comfortable to sit in. The corners of the dash show some rust, nothing to be concerned with as the car is solid - just want to make the buyer aware. Windshield wipers and all gauges work accept for the volt meter. It does have an aftermarket tachometer and radio and both work as they should. The car has factory a/c and all of the parts are there but it does not blow cold.
Undercarriage:The undercarriage is in nice condition and overall looks clean. It does have some patches but it was done correctly. It is a very solid car underneath and would need nothing to jump in and drive daily. It has many new parts including rear shocks, brake lines, master cylinder and brake booster.
Drivetrain:This T/A is powered by a recently rebuilt 400ci (believed to be number matching) engine. This car is fast and very fun to drive with recent Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley carb. and a nice lumpy sounding cam (I have the original engine parts that will go with the car). The exhaust sounds great with the long tube headers, Flowmaster mufflers and turn downs. The engine has approximately 2500 miles and the TH-350 transmission has approximately 3500 miles on it. The rear end has a 3.55 gear ratio with a locker spool/locker in it that can sometimes be heard when you turn slow/sharp. This T/A comes equipped with power steering and power brakes making this car extremely user friendly – engine starts right up cold or hot.
