This is a original survivor 1979 Pontiac Trans Am L78 6. 6 Litre 400 with 4 speed manual transmission. This car has the rare Atlantis Blue code 24 with blue vinyl interior option . This is a Non t-top car. Car was kept in storage for many years. never driven in the winter. he car has great solid floor pans and trunk pan. The bottom of car looks great. not rusty. ice frame rails. ice wheel wells. The quarters are are super solid. no rust. Doors are solid. The doors open and close like new. not sagging. The car has original paint. It is faded. has a few dings but is very straight. the body lines look great. There is a dent on the trunk lid that can be fixed. but I have another nice trunk lid that goes with car. The hood has a bent front edge corner. I have another hood that is perfect to replace it. I also have another original paint front complete bumper cover same color as the car that goes with. This trans am was never painted on. Was never in a bad wreck. All gaps and lines look great. The winshield is original and looks new. All the glass is perfect. The interior looks great for original. the seats look great. not worn out. you dont sink down when you sit down. hey are not torn up. the drivers seat by the seat belt area has a small rip that can be repaired easily. the carpet is intact. but could be freshened up. or just redye it. The dash looks great. there are a few small cracks on top of dash pad. ice gauges. ach and gauges work fine. The car has the factory 15x8 " inch wheels. it has 255/60 series tires that were replaced a few years ago and have no miles on them. The front fender extensions were replaced with new ones. The brakes have been rebuilt. IT has the factory 4 wheel disc brake option. The car was purchased from the second owner. He removed the original 400 motor and had it professionally rebuilt and installed back in like factory. it runs great. The four speed trans shifts great. as 2. 43 first gear. has the factory 11" clutch option. The rear is the 2PX 3. 23:1 gear with posi and disc brakes. The ac compressor is off. I do have it. This car was the true last performance muscle car when new in 1979. The trans am with the 400 and 4 speed option was tested in 1979 Hotrod running mid 14's in the quarter mile at 96 mph. Great times for this car in 79'. The car runs and drives very good. Get compliments everywhere I go about the originality of the car. I dont want to sell it. But have other cars also. I never planned on painting car. I wanted to hold on to its original appearance and patina it has. Very solid hard to find original car. have PHS report for car.
