SO YOU THE BIDDERS ARE GOING TO SET THE SALE PRICE……PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE FUNDS AVAILABLE BEFORE BIDDING 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible. this car has a smooth running 350. and it does drive. but needs some work before it heads out on the road as the brakes are all new. but haven't been adjusted or properly bled. The engine was supposedly rebuilt as was the transmission. but this is what I was told by the previous owner. so I don't have any receipts to prove it. The car is all there and could be some fun to play with while you save up to restore it. that's for sure. And since it's a close cousin to the 1st generation Camaros. you can buy all new "everything" for it. and all at reasonable prices. The interior is there. but needs re-done. The body work and paint are amateur quality. The power top does go up and down. but as you can see the top itself needs replaced. The floorpans have been patched in all four corners. but the sub-frames / etc. look solid. The trunk does have rust through areas. Exhaust is also new on the car. Anything you don't see like the door panels and door pulls I probably have and they are all included. but they all need to be replaced. If you want a drop-top Firebird or even a Camaro consider this car. it has a ton of potential and would make an excellent restoration project that would be worth a pile of cash when it's done. Enjoy it now (with a little bit of work). and then when you're ready. go ahead and restore it.
