Up for sale is an extremely rare 1979 Pontiac Trans Am equipped with the most desirable 400 W72 engine. nbsp;manual four speed T-10 tranny. 3. 23 rear end. and WS6 performance handling package. Car has only 43. 00 original miles. I recently purchased this Trans Am from a gentleman who purchased it in 1984 with only 18k miles. Runs. drives. and brakes like a 43k mile car should. Only 2917 four speed T-Tops cars were produced like this one in 1979. Factory colors are Black exterior with camel interior. Factory options include T-tops. power windows. tilt wheel. power trunk release. rear defrost. nbsp;and deluxe interior. This is a non a/c car. The trunk retains its original jack assembly. space saver tire. and air canister. This is an unrestored. original. matching number Trans Am which comes with supporting documentation including New Hampshire registrations since new. inspection stickers documenting mileage. original window sticker. nbsp;factory build sheet. and warranty booklets. Engine compartment is bone stock with original intake. cylinder heads. and exhaust manifolds. This car is rust free with immaculate frame rails. floor pans and tail pan. The body is arrow straight with rust free fenders. doors. and quarters. Paint has since been color sanded and buffed to a mirror like finish. There are no door dings or dents showing on body panels. Bumper covers are free of scuffs. I am currently in the process of refinishing original gold WS6 wheels with new BFG 225 70 15 tires and installing new Decals included hood bird.
