I have been working on rebuilding this limited (only 11% made like this in 1977 when it was made for its 1978 release) GOLD 1978 T-top Trans Am for the last 13 years. It is a limited edition and it has a rebuilt (just before I bought it and started my work on it) Pontiac 400 (not Olds 403) engine and a Hurst 4-speed (aka-4 on the floor) shifter. The car sat for all 13 years in a tarped area and was started regularly. The rear end and transmission were both rebuilt a couple months ago. nbsp;with a Center Force clutch added. The brake system is completely redone from the stainless steel lines. down to the rotors. I have recently licensed and registered it in California. Last year I started driving this car and due to recent health issues. I must let it go to another Pontiac fan. Done: -New gas tank and fuel sending unit. New brake system down to the stainless steel lines. -Flowmaster exhaust system made to look stock. with Hedman street legal headers -Rebuilt engine and Edelbrock intake. carb. etc -Repainted and carpeted interior. Rubber coated trunk and newly carpeted. Kenwood CD player and 4 way 6x9's installed. -Powder coated honeycomb rims with brand new TA tires -Frame was sanded and rubber coated for protection. The interior floors were replaced. Needs: - Some sheet metal body work and fresh paint to complete it. I have new replacement fenders and decals that will be included. It is a head turner for sure and is completely drivable now. The original engine parts are included such as the intake/carb. valve covers. all because the top half of the engine was redone with Edelbrock parts. *I want to also mention that the drivers door light switch and ebrake release switch do not function properly. However. the ebrake was replaced when the brakes were redone last year with exception to the pedal (repainted) and switch (original). **It is not a Y88 model. It has all the rare features of a Y82 with exception to the color. PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
