It was a 3 year "rotisserie" restoration to the highest standard of excellence. It is a very rare sunroof car with less than 200 built in 1967. It was built in September of '66 to the more desirable 901/05 specifications with an alloy dash. lighter and thinner carpets. nbsp;less undercoating and no heavy Webasto heater. This is basically the best and lightest Short Wheelbase to build into an "Outlaw"!The car features the very rare and lightweight American Racing Torque Thrust wheels as used on most racers from that era. They are in beautiful condition. The interior carpeting is German square weave. the early doors panels are lightweight. new German headliner. and new German window rubbers through out. The engine is a fresh 1973 911T 2. 7-litre. running new old stock Triple 40 IDA Webers. Bursch racing headers. and a Dansk sports muffler. The "S" cams give it incredible performance with a wondrous sound!The ignition system is Pertronix along with a Pertronix coil. making it simpler. neater. and far lighter than the MSD's that are mostly used. The gearbox is a lightweight 901 and totally rebuilt. The suspension is Bilstein and features a '76 Turbo front sway bar. The front brake calipers are aluminum from a '73 RS and the rears are stock. A '60's Prototipo steering wheel. new Simpson lap belts. and beautiful upholstery finish off the interior. The "Brand Name" Outlaw builders do beautiful work at three to five times this price. Their workmanship is not any better! The appreciation potential is vast since this build started life a a '67 Long Hood! This is an exciting investment you can drive and enjoy!
