1985.5 944 NA - PCA Member Owned and Restored

Thanks for visiting this listing for a great handling vintage Porsche. This PCA member owned late style 944 is relatively low mileage at 109k and service ready to enjoy the summer.
Power from the 2.5L 4Cyl comes on smooth and the transaxle shifts with no problems. I performed all engine service in the summer of 2014; belts & pulleys, ater pump, ront engine seals, il cooler seals, lugs, ires, istributor cap, otor mounts, tc. Receipts available upon request.All lights exterior and interior work as they should, oth windows are operable, nd the removable roof panel motor operates like a champ. The rear hatch shocks were replaced.The suspension in this car is the best 944 stock suspension I have driven and truly reflects why this car collected Best Handling awards when it was released in the mid-80's.Tires were replaced by the previous owner and have almost-new tread left.All four corners have new brake pads and sensors.This car even has working cruise control!
The interior features a powered driver's seat, nd a faux-Alcantara wrapped dash with 3D printed defroster vent trim pieces. The center console is also wrapped in the same fabric as the dash with a new leather shift boot and 3D printed shifter knob cap. Dash lights are bright and the odometer is operable.
The paint shows its age in areas. While the quality of the paint still holds a deep and rich Guards Red, here are some white defect spots on various panels including a lot patch behind the rear driver side window. Not a Concours paint quality, ut perfect for cruising around as the photos show.
AC is installed, harged, nd operable, ut could blow colder.There is an aftermarket head unit installed, ut if you plan on listening to much more than NPR, on't have high expectations. A newer single-DIN head unit with Bluetooth capability is included in the sale.The seats have no cracks, ut the driver's side bolsters could use some light dying.Like virtually all 944's, he hatch has slight delamination on the top right corner.
With three 944's, have accumulated many spare parts and will include a nice assortment to the new owner.

**Regarding the Odometer issue in the vehicle check, H BMV informed me that since a previous title transfer indicated that the Mechanical Limit was Exceeded, hey could not overwrite that identification despite having a working odometer in the vehicle. It is likely that since early 1985 944 has a 5 digit odometer, nce this car hit 100k it triggered that warning. I have documentation from the PO affirming that the odometer is operational and accurate to the best of his knowledge.**
