2001 Porsche Boxster Roadster Convertible 2-Door 2.7L

I'm selling my 2001 Porsche Boxster 986. It has low miles and is in good shape. I am the third owner of this fine automobile. and since I have owned it. all maintenance has been performed by authorized Porsche dealers. It's a California car. but I have titled and registered it in Indiana. It has a clean title. and passed its most recent smog check. Factory options: It has factory CD navigation (PCM 1. 6-disc CD changer. and full leather interior. The PO had the convertible top replaced with a later type with a factory glass rear window. It hasn't been smoked in that I can tell. and I have replaced the ash tray with a non-smoker accessory storage tray and plug for accessory outlet in dash. I'll include the original ash tray and cigarette lighter should you choose to reinstall them. Accessories: I have added several German-market only accessories. such as an OEM fire extinguisher. OEM first aid kit. factory accessory warning triangle. and work / warning lamp in rear trunk. I have also added an accessory spare lamp set with an extra headlamp bulb and fuses. Also included is a factory car cover in the front trunk. It came with aluminum etched door sill covers installed that appear to be in good shape. Drives: Overall the car runs and drives well. I had the clutch and transmission replaced about a year and a half ago. as well as recently replacing the air/oil separator and MAF sensor. The 60k mile service has been completed. I recently had the air/oil separator and MAF sensor replaced in conjunction with an oil change. I have driven it carefully since I purchased it. The transmission shifts well. the engine runs smoothly. and the steering and brakes function well. Looks: The car looks fine - there are a couple of small blemishes here and there but no major dents etc on the outside. The spoiler cap paint is blemished but not missing. The front bumper tow eye cover paint needs to be re-done. There's a small scratch on the right rear fender by the trunk lid. The interior in in terrific shape: there are no tears or gouges in the leather. The top of the dash board has a small wrinkle near the defrost vent. I have installed a DashMat to keep what's there looking like new. and always use a factory accessory sun shade while the vehicle is parked. I store it in a garage at home when I'm not out and about. Accessories: All lights and accessories function properly. Since the convertible top was replaced with a later model. it didn't originally come with a rear window defroster. so it's not hooked up. Extras: I'll also include the Bentley service manual for this car. as well as an additional service guide. Overall. this is a great car to satisfy your thirst for the Porsche driving experience.
