Here is your opportunity to join the 911 club for a reasonable buy in!!!You are bidding on a gorgeous Arena Red (rare) 996 C4 Cabriolet with the optional (pictured) hardtop. The 996 was notable as it was the first water cooled 911 and will continue to appreciate along with the rest of the 911 models. Consider that we are now 16 years into the water cooled 911- and 996 was the first version. The air cooled cars are becoming aged and this car will be viewed as the first of the water cooled cars. Enough of the history- this is a pristine example of a 911 C4 Cab. The car has 58k easy miles and is currently owned by a PCA member. Records are available. however the major items have been addressed. 1. The IMS bearing was replaced. All 911's from 98-08 should have this addressed as it was a weak point of the design. LN Engineering offers a solution and this car has it. The service is about 4k. 2. The Convertible Top motor was replaced less than 10k miles ago. 3. All 6 coil packs were replaced in the last 1k milesThe car also is equipped with sport mufflers. making the amazing flat 6 sound that these cars are known for. Bid with confidence. if a PPI is desired. that is not a problem. The car is being marketed elsewhere also. I do reserve the right to end the auction early.
