Up for auction is my 2008 PORSCHE 997 C4S. I bought this amazing car a little over 2 years ago from the second owner who bought it from the original owner in 2009 with only 1318 miles. Apparently, he original owner (who special ordered the car) fell upon hard times as many did in 2009. The second owner being a big Tennessee fan was specifically looking for the ultra-rare orange color. I bought the car from him in March of 2013 (25859 miles) and took the car over to Jim Ellis PORSCHE in Atlanta the following day and had them do a complete inspection. They found NOTHING wrong with the car (I have the report) and only suggested an oil, abin and air filter change. By the way, im Ellis has been the only dealer to service this car. The second owner (who essentially had his own shop) did his own maintenance but did bring the car in for service @ 16520 miles when he spotted a slight oil leak. Under warranty, he dealer replaced all the parts necessary including the IMS bearing (I have the receipt). I usually do my own maintenance as well but decided to only have the dealer service the car so Jim Ellis PORSCHE has done all my regular maintenance. I just did the 30K service and all they needed to do was an oil change, rake system flush and replace all of the TPMS sensors ($1400). This is a very unique car with the following options. I have the original window sticker, oth sets of keys, ooks, ervice records and the PORSCHE Certificate of Authenticity. MSRP was $123485. (1) Factory paint to sample in RS Orange (2) Factory Aero Kit (3) Ceramic Brakes (4) Adaptive Sport Seats (both sides power) (5) PSM (stability management) (6) Auto Dimming Mirrors (7) Sports Chrono Package Plus (8) PORSCHECrest in headrests (9) Alacantra steering wheel (10) Alacantra parking brake (11) Alacantra shift knob (12) Floor mats (interior color) (13) Center console painted in exterior color (14) Bose High End Sound System (15) Stainless Steel Exhaust (16) Sport Design Wheels painted black (sold them). I wanted to add my own personal touch to the car so I added: (1) 20” TECHART Formula wheels & new Michelin PS2 Super Sport tires (World-renown - The genuine five-spoke TECHART Formula light alloy wheel is a classic for Porsche vehicles all over the world and it highlights the individuality of Porsche models beyond any model range. Its elegant flowing design allows large spaces between the spokes which does not only result in a clear view of the braking system but also in effective heat dispersal) (2) Black Stone Guards to replace the factory clear ones (from PORSCHE) (3) Clear front side marker lights (from PORSCHE).(4) Orange & Black Coco mats (5) Clear Bra on the front half of the hood & side view mirrors.(6) iPod connector & XM antenna added to factory head unit (installed at Jim Ellis PORSCHE) The car is just spectacular in person and has never been in an accident or ever had any paintwork done. How many “factory” painted orange 911’s are out there on the road? I have never seen another one except in pictures. People take photos of it all the time whether parked or sitting at a traffic light. To my knowledge, he car has never been tracked or abused. The previous owner averaged about 500 miles per month and I have only driven the car an average of 175 miles per month. It just sits in the garage except for the occasional car show or highway sprint. I keep it on a PORSCHE trickle charger for the battery and everything works perfectly. The only marks on the car are from the usual front scraps on the black plastic chin spoiler. I’m going to regret selling it as soon as the next owner drives it away. Why am I selling? I have an opportunity to buy an investment property and this is the fastest way for me to come up with the required cash. The prices of these cars vary wildly by huge margins because of options, arity, ileage and owner history. This car has only been owned by mature men who had the money to maintain it properly and appreciate it for what it is. I’m a long time PCA member who bought my first 911 in 1979. It’s never been through a dealer re-sale process or auto auction where porters take it out to rekindle their memory of the Ferrari in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. I really never anticipated the day I would sell it but life changes our priorities sometimes. The car is sold on an “As-is” basis with no warranty inferred or implied. I do have a small loan outstanding at my local credit union and I will be able to get the Georgia title within 48 hours (or less) of receiving the sale proceeds. The car (or title) will not be released until the funds have cleared my bank account (at the credit union). I will only take certified bank check or wire transfer. I will require a $1000 non-refundable deposit within48 hours of the auction closing and full balance within10 days. The buyer is also responsible for shipping and I will make the car available for pick up at my home or a reasonable distance (20 miles or less). You are welcome to come and inspect the car yourself or have someone do a pre-purchase inspection at your expense. This is an auction to buy, ot win and then re-negotiate after the fact. I know a good car transport company if you do not. I have tried to tell you as much as I can about the car to avoid redundant questions but if you do have a question, promise to respond as quickly as possible. I may be open to a legitimate offer to end the auction early and I have the car for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason. Anyone with zero or negative feedback needs to contact me prior to bidding or you will be blocked. Sorry it’s nothing personal, ust business. Best of luck with winning the auction.
