Beautiful Guards Red Early 1997 Porsche Boxster 5 Spd – IMS update completed!

This is a beautiful, riginal, tock, arly production Porsche '986' Boxster, n quintessential Guards Red/black. Runs great, ith 125K well loved miles. IMS update documented and done. Southern (Carolina) car, ow in Indiana, ith fresh paint & seats.

Areas for improvement:

*There is a slight shimmy in the steering wheel over bumps (sway bar links?). Never really noticed this in the south, nly when we got it to the beautiful roads of northern Indiana for the summer. Also, slight vibration in the steering wheel at high speeds. Feels like tire balance. Subtle, nd only noticeable over 60 mph or so.

*HVAC readout is about shot. Can still read if you try. New one from Modulemaster.com or here on eBay is $75 & an easy swap. A/C works great.

*Occasional (& common in these cars) starter whine for 2 secs on cold start.

Overall, his isn't a perfect car, y any means, ut is a great looking, unning, amp; driving Boxster, nd would make a great starter, utocross, r track Porsche (never been tracked to this point).
