When buying a used car it's all about the condition and how well it has been taken care of. This Porsche has only been driven on nice sunny days, arage and seasoned stored. I'm the original owner, ordered the car and waited for it to come from Germany. It has most of the options including the very expensive Tiptronic AutomaticTransmission with the ability to also shift 5 speeds manually from the steering wheel. It also has the sport package which I remember was over $3,000. None of these Boxsters came with rear speakers but I noticed that they were described in the owners manual from Germany. So I spent $1400 to have the Porsche dealer install them (the one photo showing the area behind the seats also shows these Porsche speakers). The radio can controlvolumefrom front to rear, here was sound from 4 very good speakers, ut with 6 it is much better. It was difficult to hear the radio with only the front and floor speakers with the top down (and it sounded a bittitty) which is why I spent the money to upgrade it. It now sounds great. I also spent $600 at the Porsche dealer to add the two drink holders which pop out of the dash, he photo I supplied shows them out. Again they were not available until later model years. It has the factory alarm and remote with two key fobs. I bought new $1300 tires last year not because they were warn but because of the safety issues of driving on old tires. There is an automatic spoiler that raises up in the rear at speeds of 75 MPH. There are no chips in the windshield and it is original, t even has the original Porsche road service card in the visor. There is a passenger visor mirror. Power side mirrors, ocks, indows and cruise control. The dealer told me that the brakes need to be flushed every so many years, ecause if it isn't done it would cost over $5000 to repair (so they said). It's been done twice and just the year before last. Oil has always been changed at the dealer, s a matter of fact all the service work has been done at the dealer. The car not only looks like new but runs like new. There are absolutely no oil drips, ransmission drips, r coolant drips. The convertible top is also like new. It has automatic climate control, river seat adjusts 6 ways, nd included is a Boxster storage cover and front end bra.
Please read what other buyers on Ebay have said going back many years of buying my cars about the condition of thevehicle they bought. Everyone of them has praised about the fabulous condition. In my opinion, his Boxster looks better than new; I think it has about 10 coats of wax, n unbelievable shine with no scratches or dents. The car has never been in an accident. I paid $60,000 for this Porsche in 1999, hen put more money in it, t's a great fun car to drive. Everything works, othing has beenconcealed. I even spent $1700 to replace the passenger airbag which another Boxster owner might not have done, here was only a light that came on.
You can buy a 16 year old Boxster for less, ut you will get what you pay for. Porsche repairs are expensive and in terms of a 16 year old used vehicle this is as good as it gets.
