The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this Gorgeous 1985 Porsche 928 S. This is a one owner car, ith a great story, ull records and a great history. The car was purchased new by a WORLD WAR II veteran who lost his leg during the war!! When the VA said he would never be able to drive a stick shift car; he took this as a challenge!!!! Since his injuries in Italy in 1944 he only drove stick shift cars!!! This 928 was his pride and joy, nd this 92 year old has been forced to sell her only because he could not take it with him to assisted living. Her original RED paint is lovely, ith great shine and deep luster. The BLACK leather interior is likewise in excellent condition; buttery soft with little wear. With just 70,000 original miles, nd the RARE 5 SPEED MANUAL transmission, his is a rare and desirable 928s. The car had a belt and water pump service, ew tires, nd upgraded A/C (r134). All mechanical systems work as they should, nd the car runs and drives wonderfully!!! The climate control works well and the A/C was just serviced and blows cold. Her original 16” wheels are polished and shod with NEW COOPER TIRES. Her original BLAUPUNKT radio/cassette stereo is installed, nd works well. The WATER PUMP AND TIMING BELTS WERE REPLACED within the last 10,000 miles!!! Synthetic oil has been used throughout her lifetime. The 5-SPEED MANUAL transmission shifts with authority, nd the clutch works well. The previous owner was meticulous.
