First off this is NOT your normal 911.
I am a guy who loves cars and is a TRUE Porsche nut / enthusiast.
I bought the car three years ago because I always wanted to own one and
build one the way I wanted. It becomes a sort of sickness (good) really.
I have always wanted to do a European street car Rallye and that was my
inspiration for the build. That and the great Magnus Walker of course.
Look him up if you don't know about him. Super cool guy.
I've basically built a streetable track car / rally car / race car, ithout looking like
a beat up, o interior race car. You can take it to shows drive it on the street or take
it to the track on the weekends. Sadly I have not taken it to a track yet.
There is too much to list but the short of it is it has been lightened up
considerably, ncluding no a/c, o heat, umper shocks and more.
engine has been gone through, ll new suspension bushings, rack alignment,
new RS lightweight carpet kit, S door panels, orsche short throw shifter, br>paint job, port muffler and tune from Steve Wong 911 chips, yno work, br>full targa top restoration and seals, ew Euro lights and French Lens covers, br>light weight battery, 11R Tail light conversion, ustom oil cooler air inlet,
newer tires, actory Porsche cup 1 wheels, ave rear seats if you want to put
them back in. Plus much much more.
So many new parts and tons of receipts for all the work to back it up.
Thousands upon thousands of dollars and hundreds of my own man hours
went into this. Just email me for more infoand I will give you my phone#.
This is a TRUE drivers car. This is not your sit at home in the garage queen car.
I will admit I do not take it out in the rain and it is of course garaged in the winter, br> but I have taken it across the state and up north plenty of times. I often drive it to
work 3 or so days a week when nice and whenever I can. It brings a smile to
my face every time I take it up to full song. It's true until you have driven a 911
you just do not get it. Now take it to the next level like this and it is just an absolute blast.
If you know anything about older 911's the Carrera years are rock solid if you maintain them.
They will go 300K without a rebuild. These cars bring a lot of money bone stock now
with no money into them. Once I finish a project I am on to another build.
Do NOT need to sell but will for the right price to the right person.
On Aug-16-15 at 06:04:44 PDT, eller added the following information:Some things I forgot to mention, as new starter, has upgraded turbo
tie rod ends which are much better. Just had front calipers rebuilt.
The suspension bushings are factory unlike many race cars that use
urethane bushings. Those make a bunch of noise and always have to
be kept lubricated. Plus after market ones have a very harsh ride.
So this car rides like a new one out of the factory but handles much
better because of being lowered, ighter weight, nd having a good
alignment setup. Also car does NOT smoke or LEAK any oil. Not
many older 911's can say that.
