Why buy a GTS???

In 2012, he Carrera 4 GTS was produced with 408 hp, hich is 23 hp more than the Carrera S, nd only 27 hp less then the GT3. In my opinion, he all-wheel-drive version of the GTS is one of the best 911’s for the money. The only other Porsche with more power and all-wheel-drive, s the more expensive Turbo. What makes the Carrera 4 GTS so unique is that Porsche took some of the best attributes of the entire 911 line up and culminated them into one car. On top of having the confidence of AWD traction that is shared with Turbo and C4 models, ou will also immediately notice some GT3 undertones with the wide-body rear, he lower front fascia, ide skirts, nd the nineteen-inch center-lock wheels painted black with the bright red brake caliper’s. As it is on the inside of the GT3, ou are surrounded by leather and an Alcantara wrapped headliner, eats, ear shift, -brake, nd steering wheel, ut the GTS does have something that the GT3 does not… 2 more seats in the back for the smaller versions of us.

One of Porsche's best options that is standard on the GTS is the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). I turn this on every time I drive because the sound is intoxicating! Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is also standard equipment on the GTS. In Sport mode, t’s like you added a track car’s suspension at the push of a button, nd in Normal mode it is classic 911, nrivaled steering and handling without the experience of jarring your teeth loose. The original owner of this car had the Factory Aerokit Cup package installed when he purchased it new at the dealership. This added the Front Lip, ear Spoiler and Side Skirts in Carrara White. As you can see in the pictures, his is one feature that separates it from all of the 911’s and even other GTS’s on the road. The last feature I’d like to call attention to is the Manual Transmission. This was one of the biggest deciding factors when I searched for a 911. Yes, he PDK transmission is a technological marvel when considering sport cars with automatic transmissions, nd yes, n the same car, he PDK version is faster (0.2 Seconds) than a human can manually shift through a 0-60 run…BUT the feeling of physically running through the 6 speed manual in this car is sublime and like I said, uying one of these cars is all about emotions and people typically have very specific feelings when it comes to making the decision of an auto or manual sport car! I will also add that as Porsche moves away from building cars with Manual Transmissions, his could help with the resale of this 911 later on.
