Both convertible and hard top are in good condition and work as designed. Has all owners books. I'm selling for a friend from Oregon who can no longer drive a standard transmission auto. He purchased the car last winter from a Classic Car broker. also in Sarasota. Humpty Classics. It was driven less than a thousand miles since the purchase. He has NO records or maintenance history and I suggest contacting Suncoast Porsche or Humpty Classics to get more info. using the vin. Car is here in Oceanside. California and I can help to find a shipper if needed. Obviously. my friend is not the original owner. Clear Oregon title on hand. Has some cosmetic issues under front bumper from driveways. Missing 2 wheel center emblems . no windscreen. just the storage bag. curb rash on right front wheel . 2 of the carbon fiber trims in front of dash have started to de laminate. so I removed them and set them aside. A pre-purchase inspection has just been done last week at European Motorsports. a Porsche specialist. They have found some good and some bad. Good. No oil leaks. 80-85 % brakes. Tires very good tread. No noises or trouble from engine and trans. Carbon fiber rotors in good condition. everything works as designed. Bad. They did not like the carbon fiber wing in back. since it was not original. said they did not like the install. although I find no fault with that. They did not like the stance of the car. and felt that new Porsche springs would improve this. The struts are Porsche and are good. The springs are H and R. The clutch starts to slip when turbo boost is achieved. Probably not found by the owners. as they are seniors. and drive too slow for this vehicle. Also ABS. PMS lights on. Fault is steering angle sensor. May be loose connection or may need a sensor. Clutch will be about 3K to replace. here in SoCal. and could add another 1K. if you want a flywheel. while apart. No idea on the sensor cost. without more diagnosis. I do know that the light first came on after they drove through some water on the road. Not deep water!One gauge in the IP has a couple of bubbles under the yellow decal. I am driving the car on the highway. sparingly and it is doing fine. I certainly recommend an independent inspection at a shop of your choice. prior to purchase. It's only right!
