This is a number matching rare factory "Sport" optioned car. The front air dam, 6" Fuchs and whale tail are unique to this package. The moment you glance at this car it's instantly apparent that it has been very well cared for. With a slight turn of the key the engine jumps to life on the first stroke. It is cat delete, herefore a little louder than stock and it sounds a little more menacing. The non-original seats were recently re-foamed and reupholstered. They look and feel new, roviding a firm but comfortable experience. Driving the car is a pleasure. The drive line, uspension and brakes all work in perfect harmony, ust like a properly maintained 911SC of this vintage should. This is a no excuses car, aving only one respray in the factory original color during the course of it's 33 years. There is no record or evidence of any accident damage. The rust free body is very straight with only a couple minor stone chips and dings. I have records going back to the two previous owners and have spoken to both of them, This car was put back into service in 2012 after a 10-12 year period of long storage. The storage was a result of head bolt problems. The car was purchased by a dealer around 2011. He then sold it to the person who was two owners prior to me. The engine was in the process of being rebuilt by Highland Motors in Tampa when the purchase agreement was made. Carrera tensioners, ead bolt upgrades and 930 valve covers were included. Highland also restored the Targa top. Shortly after being put into use the brakes and ignition needed attention. A new brake master, ross drilled slotted rotors, tainless steel braided lines, erformance pads and a rebuild of the calipers was done. The distributor was rebuilt, s was the CDI, new alternator, an housing, elts and battery were then installed. That repair totaled $4000. Then the A/C failed. It was addressed by upgrading to R134 with a rotary compressor conversion, ll new lines and a larger condenser. The cost of the conversion kit with labor totaled over $3700. A Momo steering wheel was installed which cost $400. (Sorry the original wheel is not available.) The car has a cooling intake for the oil trombone mounted in the bumper, he lens that was removed to accommodate it is with the car. The original owners manual, ools and the records mentioned above also come with the car. I am in communication with the second owner back in the effort to get the receipt for the rebuild. Upon my purchase, had a leak down test performed 1/17/16 at the best Porsche shop in my area. The results were less than 2% on all six cylinders. I also had them perform a thorough visual inspection. The only flaws noted were a tiny bit of seepage from one of the chain cover gaskets and a small hole in the cat delete pipe. They noted the new A/C and oil lines, rake and A/C upgrades. The undercarriage was very clean and free of dents and rust. The car has been lowered about 1 inch utilizing the factory adjustments and the alignment appears to be correct for the set up. If I were going to keep the car I would address some minor issues. The two gaskets above each door window that are attached to the Targa top leak slightly above the vent window frame. One knob to adjust the seat back rake is missing. I have swapped the remaining one back and forth. Now it no longer stays in place well. I would replace both. The chrome Fuch rims have pitting, hey clean up well but the front right rim also has had some chrome peel off. The glove box facing/veneer is lifting on the edges. There is one small place beside the bonnet release knob as well. The Carfax indicates a mileage discrepancy back in the 1990's but it does not appear on Autocheck. Carfax also notes it could be a clerical error, hich is what I also concluded before I purchased the car. How you view it is up to you.
