1970 Porsche 911 S - Air-cooled Classic Porsche

This car has been owned by a local Porsche Club member since 1995, ut was originally a European market car. It has had a bare metal restoration, nd has had very little mileage since. The odometer shows 25,747. Actual mileage on the chassis is 125,747. The car has been driven less than 1000 miles since the restoration was completed in 2011. Here is some of the work that has been done to this beautiful 911 S:

• New rubber seals & deco's, eplaced lenses on turn signals, elective re-plating of parts where needed
• 2.2 MFI engine, esealed & top end freshened at restoration time.
• Transmission was rebuilt less than 10K miles ago.
• Clutch replaced about 8K miles ago.
• Carrera tensioner update
• Front oil cooler replaced with one from 84 Carrera -- not obvious but runs cool in any driving situation or weather.
• Interior redone -- Autos International supplied carpet, eadliner, tc. GTS Classics built custom leather sports seats. (still have original seats). Interior installed by Burt Litton.
• Sport steering wheel by Racemark/RAID -- 70's period item
• Front 'thru the grill' fog lights are Carello's
• Upgraded torsion bars (23mm front, 8mm rear) & sway bars (front 19mm adjustable, ear from SC). Has a 'cheater' 2ndgear for autocross. Car was a multi-year autocross champion in PCA Zone 3 in the 80's & early 90's.
• Duck tail is a real RS part
• Brakes are original S alloy calipers, ool Carbon pads
• Short shift kit
• 'Real' SSI heat exchangers
• Left foot dead pedal rest
• Currently has 16x6 front, 6x7 rear polished Fuchs with new 205/50-16 Dunlops. Have various 15" cookie cutter & Fuchs wheels available.
• AGM glass mat batteries
• Have most of the tool kit items, ack is restored
• Spare is un-restored Fuchs with period correct tire
• Certificate of Authenticity
