Description

78. XX miles. 6-speed manual and with all the goodies (see the option sticker pictured). Enthusiast owned - PCA/Rennlist member. The RMS and IMS are still original. There are no visible drips/leaks on the floor. Purchase inspection when I purchased the car as well as a recent inspection during an oil change showed that the oil pan was completely free of debris. In order to minimize stress and maximize the fun of the car. I installed the IMS Guardian Sr. kit; my intention was to hold off on replacing the IMS until the clutch is due (and there are no signs of it needing a clutch yet). All major and minor services to necessary have been performed. I have records for my ownership and the previous owner. Details on request; highlights include a recent preventative water pump replacement. full coolant flush using Porsche brand coolant. and oil changes at a less-than-3000-mile interval using Joe Gibbs DT40 oil. Mechanically. the car is mostly stock – the only modifications to the car are a Techart catback exhaust setup (Techart cans and tips). Additionally. I had a Fister D style modification done to the Techart cans – they sound fantastic. Inside. I’ve done a lot of work to get the car to feel “just right”. The car has the Function First Console Riser Kit with the climate control relocation option. Additionally. the center console is wrapped and clearcoated in simulated CF fabric (Rennlist members can see the thread I posted). If you don’t like either of these options. no big deal – I still have the stock center console and center stack. if you want to go back (trust me – you won’t). I also removed the rear seats and seatbelts. as I don’t have any kids nor any friends small enough to fit in the back – but I still have all the parts as well. and they go back in quite easily. The exterior is in very good condition. The car had the front bumper resprayed while belonging to the original owner in order to fix some rock chips. It isn’t visually apparent that there has been any paint work – I was told about it during a PPI. There are some new chips on the front bumper. as well as some cracking in paint near the front radiator grill due the car being parked to close to a curb. It is not particularly noticeable from most angles and from more than 5 ft away. The lip had a bit of road rash (as a lot of them do). so I painted the lip with plastidip; you’ll see the wheels and the spoiler are all in the same matching color. If you don’t like any of the plastidip. it peels right off – similar to vinyl. The rear taco wing/aerokit spoiler is included. but the stock spoiler is included if you don’t like the look. Tires are Sumitomo HTR Z III. 225-40-18 front and 295-30-18 and are brand new (well – about 300 miles on them). Great tires. which I prefer to the previous Michelin PS2s that were on there. Options abound. as is typical for these cars; full list upon request. but the highlights are the heated leather sport seats. full leather interior. litronic headlights with washers. sunroof. and a Pioneer AVH-X4600BT stereo connected to the factory Bose amplifier. subwoofer and speakers. All books. keys. tools included. Again. see the attached option sticker for more info. The car has never been tracked or abused. This car is kept in perfect working condition and operated every day as my primary vehicle and I maintain proactively. I would not hesitate to drive anywhere. for any amount of time. In fact. I’ve done a number of fairly long road trips in the car. Originally a Canadian car – I imported it myself into the United States. It is currently titled and registered in Oregon; I have all documentation of the import process and paperwork – though now that it is a US titled vehicle. it should never be needed. Always garaged. and driven 4-7 times per week. Deposit is due within 24 hrs. and payment is due within 3 days of the end of the auction. If you are interested in flying to pick up the car. the nearest airport is North Bend. OR. If you have any questions. feel free to email them to me. I can provide my phone number if you'd like to call and talk cars.
