Offered for sale, rom KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, s my personal car from the last 6 years. I purchased this car with only 47,000 miles on it and have enjoyed it sparingly for 15,000 miles with very good maintenance. I purchased it from the second owner in Corona, A who purchased it from Walter's Porsche in Riverside as a trade-in from the original owner of Mission Viejo.
It's a very nice car with low miles. It has been mechanically superb. I did the usual replacement of the mass airflow meter around 48,000 miles. I just had Autostrasse of Costa Mesa, A perform a 60,000-mile major service along with new brake discs and pads on all four corners. This cost was about $1,250.The car also comes with it's original set of rims and tires from the factory (pictured). Aftermarket Rims with Pirelli tires are currently fitted.
The softop black cloth material is perfect. It needs the clear plastic window replacing like most of the Boxsters this age. It's yellowed and hardened up do to smog/age. Also, the softtop has a mind of it's own and works intermittently due to the "alarm box" under the driver's seat that needs replacing( rebuilt units available on Ebay). I drive it with the hardtop in winter and simply remove it for summer months.Overall, t's a very nice preserved low-mileage original car with all original paintwork, interior, tc. with a Southern California history from new. It is avaible for viewing in Santa Ana, A weekdays from 9am -5pm or by appointment.
