2003 PORSCHE CARRERA COUPE

This 2003 911 is in excellent condition. It has never been wrecked and appears to retain its original paint. The hood and front bumper are coated with Clear Bra so are essentially free of rock chips. The interior,including the leather seats, hows little sign of wear. The original owner stated that it has the sport suspension. The car was originally sold by the then Porsche dealer, laza Porsche. It has remained in the St. Louis area since new.
At the last oil service, etal particles were found in the oil filter so the transmission was removed and the intermediate shaft (IMS) bearing was inspected. It was in the early stages of failure so the engine was removed and disassembled to clean the block and oil passages to remove any metal contamination. The bearings, hain tensioners and chain guides were replaced along with the oil pump. the intermediate shaft was replaced with the M97 intermediate shaft with the larger IMS bearing which was Porsches fix for the bearing failures. The engine is now like new and ready for trouble free service. While the engine was out, he clutch was also replaced although it was still in good shape but about 3/4 worn.

They barely cover the cost to rebuild the engine. The car has been inspected and if sold in Missouri will be sold with a valid state inspection. The car is being offered on other sites and the auction will be closed if sold prior to the end of this auction. The $500 deposit is to hold the car until you can send the remaining funds. It will not be refunded for buyer's remorse so please ask your questions before committing to buy.
