Description

This car started life as a Targa, nd was converted some time ago to a Convertible. All Porsche parts were used. The tubs are the same in both cars, o no major changes were needed. Car is a 9/79 production, itled 1980. Clean title in my name. Registration on Non-Op. 166k miles.
Cloth top is like new, orks exactly as it should. Has a cloth cover for the top for when it is down. Seats are newly reupholstered in black leather with grey piping by a very talented show car guy. New carpet. New cocoa floor mats. S type door panels. White face gauges. Momo steering wheel. Vitaloni mirrors. New windshield.
Engine was just rebuilt down to the crank. Receipts for many thousands spent. New cylinder studs, ings, one, alve job, ll new seals and gaskets(naturally), new trans rear seal and clutch. New Koni rear shocks. All new oil lines. Borla stainless steel exhaust is not on the tame side. Recently passed California Smog with flying colors.
Tires about 50%. Brakes work great. Wheels are OEM Fuchs.
Paint is a ten footer. I think the hood was repainted, ut the rest may well be original. No signs of ever an accident. The paint has thin spots and plenty of little nicks and defects. The rear deck lid had a whale tale, o there are extra holes around the new grill. I was on the fence as to whether to repaint just the lid or the whole car. You probably will be too. Original California car, o signs of rust.
Please email your number if you are interested in seeing it or talking to a person. I am motivated to sell and will call you. Car is being advertised locally and nationally. I have over 50 high res pics here: http://s968.photobucket.com/user/motogodojo/library/1980%20Porsche%20911SC

Forgot to mention, hough most already know, his car has no ac compressor. They never worked well, ndmost cars of this vintage have them removed or spent good money to only to work so-so.
