1983 Porsche 944 - Awesome car and drives great!

I bought this car in 1998 from the second owner with about 62000 miles. It has been stored in a garage for the last 12 years and driven occasionally to keep it fresh.

The car starts right up, rives solid, lutch grabs hard, nd alignment is dead straight. You can’t help but smile when you drive this thing and take it through the turns. Can be registered with historic QQ plates if you wish.

I just had it serviced, ith over $2800 in work:

• New Battery

• New Engine computer

• New Brake Pads

• New Caliper Kit

• New Crankshaft sensor

• New Fuel Pump

• New Fuel filter & relay

• Injectors cleaned

• Air filter replaced

• Oil & Filter changed

• New sunroof seals

• New hood shocks

Replaced at 58,000 miles:

• Timing Belt

• Water Pump

• Balance Shaft Belt

• Distributor Cap

• Thermostat

• All Tires

• Plugs, ires

• Rotor

• Oxygen Sensor

Other details:

• Recent paint job, o rust anywhere.

• Goodyear Eagle HP tires with good tread left.

• Includes extra set of 4 “cookie cutter” wheels with Pirelli P700-Z tires mounted (bought to refinish or outfit with winter tires.)

• Passed inspection November 2015.

• Lots of little upgrades, uch as drop-in H3 headlamps, etal sunroof clips and rear reflector lamps.

Stereo has been upgraded from stock unit:

• Blaupunkt CD head unit

• JL Microsub subwoofer installed behind driver seat

• Blaupunkt 7/6/5/4 Channel 340w Power Amplifier installed in spare tire well (configured for 6 channels: 4 main, enter channel, nd subwoofer)

• New Kenwood KFC-4625C 4x6 speaker pair included (to be installed)

This is a vintage vehicle and has a number of little glitches yet to be repaired. For full disclosure:

• Power window switches to be checked: Drivers side switch won’t operate passenger window. Passenger side switch is reversed.

• Power radio antenna is stuck. Motor appears to work but antenna doesn’t raise/lower automatically.

• Rear hatch shocks are due for replacement.

• Fog lamps need new bulbs.

• Gas gauge is inconsistent when tank is full.

• No Owners manual.

• Hood foam deteriorated and was removed.

• A/C needs recharge.

• Some cracks in dashboard (extremely common for this model)

• Upholstery has some wear in various places.

• Steering wheel stitching is mostly gone.
