Truly a unique early 911. It is a Driver quality early 911S, very nice running, riving, nd fast early 911S. It has Brumos heritage – see the original factory maintenance record book. The mileage is unknown – the original mechanical speedometer has been replaced with a later model electronic version. It has 7 and 8 x15 Fuchs wheels. It is a Non- matching transmission and Non- matching engine (6230168) built to 2.7 RS specifications and RS MFI, uilt by David White motors in Tampa Florida – see documents. It has steel RS flares, orking air conditioning. The very unique and beautiful original color is Glacier Blue – see COA. The seats are Recaro LS with US Navy Tartan inserts with the vintage of the seat matching the car. Probably installed in the car at Brumos. The Navy tartan inserts were recently added. It is equipped with Dual closed cell Odyssey batteries in the original battery locations– no acid spilling. It has the original solid floors and pan. This is a nice solid original car as a full restoration candidate or it can be enjoyed as is. The potential for this car to be a very desired addition to a serious collection is great.

The best part is the way this 911 S drives. It is the essential early 911S. This 2.7 motor moves with ample torque and has plenty of quickness. The 2.7 upgrade certainly helps with the low speed acceleration. At about 4,500 rpm, he motor takes off. Shifting is very smooth, recise and without grinding or any other issues. It is an excellent feeling transmission. The steering is light and responsive with no pulling or other alignment issues. The cornering and tracking are solid with no wavering. The brakes are firm and last all day with hard driving. This is an ideal long hood 911S for vintage touring events.

This Porsche comes with the original owner’s manual, ervice maintenance book, ervice records from David White motors in Tampa Florida and a Genuine Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Additional photos are available, lease feel free to contact for email and phone number.

A photo of the great Glacier Blue color is included only as an example of the color and NOT a photo of THIS car. This 911S is currently Grand Prix white and was Glacier Blue when it came from the factory. It was repainted white in the 1980’s. The paint is fair and has panels that do not exactly match in color.

There is documented history on the car from about 1988. This is a very interesting early 911S with minor modifications. It is a 1972 model with the unique location for the oil tank forward of the right rear wheel and its separate oil filler door. It has the original right front oil cooler and an additional left front oil cooler. This 1972 911S with its original color is a very unique Porsche. It has steel RS rear fender flares and a 2.7 RS spec engine with a RS spec Mechanical Fuel Injection pump.
