Not often a vintage car in this condition is offered your consideration. Very clean, straight, damage fre, rustfree low mileage 928. Purchased from the original owner. Purchased new in California and moved to Colorado, this vehicle is completely rust free. Never driven in bad weather. Previous owner was a local doctor and had spent thousands on maintaining mechanical and cosmetics of a car he owned for over 30 years. Upon purchase I received all the receipts for the work performed on this car . The most recent was for $7474.93 and included the critical timing belt replacement, Amsoil oil change, brake fluid flush, new injector hoses, hood and hatch struts, all new timing gear, tensioner, belt rollers and fuel filter. Work was performed by Concours Cars of Colorado. Additionally here is a list of additional items attended to:
New window gaskets on ALL glass. Another $4525.37 invoice.
All new window tint.
Nicely done re-spray of original color. There was no damage repair associated with the re-spray. Colorado is notorious for stone chipping due to all the decomposed granite on the road as well as sun fade due to our 300 plus days a year sunshine . The paint shows very well. Hi glos, no dents or dings. I would rate it at 95 %. Shine is very bright as well as color retention on this beautiful Cranberry color.
Sheepskin seat covers, new floor mats including deck mat.
New Battery
Custom Alpine CD Stereo
Bora exhaust.
Has owners manual, tool kit, original deflated spar, air pum, 4 key sets, 2 of which have fobs for the automatic door lock.
In all there are close to $20K in maintenance receipts in the file. To say the previous owner was obsessive-compulsive about the condition of this vehicle is an understatement.
The car has never had ethanol fuel in it . She starts, runs, and idles beautifully. Acceleration is smooth. Oil pressure idle at "3" and cruises at "5" (see dash picture) indicative of very low wear on engine internals. Braking strong and straight with no pull or rotor warp. Lots of brake pad left. Tires are Goodrich with about 80% tread remaining.Car handles like its on rails.Air Conditioning is ice cold . All controls work fine. Leather seats in very nice condition. Interior is in great shape. All electric seat, window and mirror controls work. Car is a pleasure to drive and needs nothing. These are great, well built V8 cars at a relatively reasonable price. This is both a great investment as well as a comfortable, powerful classic that turns heads and receives compliments wherever it goes.
I encourage you to ask questions or come by Pueblo, Colorado and take a look before you buy.
