Porsche Carrera 4S
1997 rare factory Porsche Carrera 4S also lovingly known as C4S. What great machine these Porsche are. There is something that quite cant describe in words about the wailing of a nice flat 6 in full song along with the whirling of the fan blades. This one is no different and it has been lovingly cared for by only 2 owners before me. Black on black is a combination that cannot fault, it does take a bit more work to keep clean but boy they do look mean when all shiny up. Car looks and drives as they were intended. A few updates has been done last few years that makes this a more exceptional driver. Suspension has been updated to Bilsteins adjustable. Suspension is setup for OEM height for easy driving however it can be adjusted to give it a more sporty stance. All 4 control arms has been changed. A brand new set of 19" Ray's engineering 3 piece Forged wheels (cost $4500 for these wheels alone) has updated the look, the original turbo twist wheels are also included in this auction. Engine and transmission are perfect running condition with no hint of oil drippage or oil burning. Car pulls as strong as any 993 and this car will for sure bring much joy to new owner. Car exterior and interior can pass as a car under 100k miles in fact it can even pass as 57000 miles, just shows how much care this car received. I am certain some interested party might think 157k miles is high mileage but I personally think this is a better bet than a low lower mileage garage queen meant only for the collector garage. This car has been driven and shows some battle scars to prove its worth (some pitting in paint from highway travels) however it is also a guilt free vehicle that can be safely jumped into and travel up down and across the coast as you happily continue adding more miles. Remember, you are looking at a factory wide body car for less than some narrow body 993 money. Happy Bidding, feel free to message me for further inquiries.
PS, I removed the wheel locks because Porsche enthusiast will tell you they will create more headaches than its worth. Picture shows each wheel with lock nut taken out but it has all lugs back in place now. Another noteworthy description is that the turbo twist shown although been 90's bling bling with all chromed out, they are the much rarer hollow spokes wheels so please do take that into consideration.
To the interested parties please bare in mind that this is an auction and I am here trying to sell my car. I had previous buyer made a good offer but when I communicated with the buyer he claims there are too much duties to import car back to his country. For obvious reasons the transaction wasn't completed. That in mind, please please this is an auction so if you have no intention to buy or you need to have the purchase approved by your other half, accountant, neighbor, IRS or whoever, please have that in order before you make the offer. Thank you
