Finished in Black over a Red interior, this 1961 Porsche 356B the subject of a 20 year old restoration, that currently presents as a very solid, sharp, usable 356. The car is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity which confirms that the car is still equipped with its original engine, original transmission, and was originally painted in Aetna blue from the factory.
The interior is in good condition, with the leather and carpeting showing some age but having been properly cared for post restoration. The headliner is in excellent condition and fits properly, and the interior plastics have not begun to crack as seen on many of these cars. The car comes fitted with a set of seat belts which are newer replacements. The leather on the seats in soft and supple, as are the door panels. Under the dash, the 356 is neat and tidy without any unsightly modifications to the wiring harness, which itself is in fine condition. The proper Super 90 gauges are fitted and in proper working order. The clock does not currently work, and although the radio turns on, it does not produce any sound.
The car was last owned in Oregon, briefly in Louisiana and prior to that in California. Both the body and undercarriage are solid and with just a few small bubbles on the passenger side door resulting from minor corrosion under the paint that were recently repaired. Upon close inspection, the car was stripped down during the repaint and signs of the original color cannot be found. The front end has a few touched up stone chips, and the roof has a small burn mark from a buffer. The rubber on the car was replaced during the restoration, and the glass, although original, is in very good condition. The chrome and stainless are not in #1 show condition, but present very well and are in great condition for the age of the restoration, and overall age of the car.

Classic Car Studio has driven the car just under 100 miles and she has proven to be a great running/driving example. We've cruised reliably as speeds between 70 and 80 MPH on the highway and at slower speeds around town without fault.
This car would be a wonderful candidate for Porsche enthusiast that wants to get out and drive. Long car tours would be enjoyable in this 356.
Expect a car that looks excellent from 10 feet but shows minor imperfections up close due to the age of the restoration. The 356 is a well cared for, sympathetically restored car that can be driven as these cars were originally designed. We've done our best to accurately describe the Porsche, but please contact us with any questions regarding the vehicle.
