I bought the car in 2009. but between another car and two motorcycles it wasn't driven much. I put it in storage until I moved in 2013. When it was time to re-register I took it out of the garage. but the power steering pump failed and leaked fluid everywhere so I put it back in the garage and just registered it non-op. I don't have time to deal with it and I want the garage space back so it's time for this to go. The car is in good shape mechanically but the interior needs to be reupholstered. The car has 260k miles on it but the previous owner had the engine rebuilt at 220k. I have the service records to confirm. and all other service records for the car. At the time the engine was rebuilt the gauge cluster was replaced due to the gears in the odometer and trip meter breaking. a common failure on these cars. With the new cluster the odometer now shows 40k. The body is in good shape and the paint is in good condition except for some of the clearcoat on the roof. Buyer responsible for shipping. On Mar-03-15 at 20:32:48 PST. seller added the following information:3/3/15 Update:I took a few additional pictures showing more of the interior and some closeups of a few chips and blemishes. - The timing belt and water pump were last done at "474" (really 220k. 40k miles ago) miles. I took some pictures of the service records to confirm. - There are no dents. but there are some imperfections in the paint. I took a few closeup pictures showing some examples. Overall it's in good condition for a 30 year old car. - I went over the car again and wanted to mention a few additional items:- Hood struts are weak and should be replaced. - Rear wiper will move one direction but won't return. This is a common issue. I don't think it's broken. just bent or not snug. - AC not working- Previous owner installed an aftermarket amplifier and put it where the spare tire goes. and wired it haphazardly. It is a poor location. but it never bothered me enough to do something about it. - The last time I had the car in for service in 2011 I was told there was some seepage from the oil pan gasket. It should probably be inspected/addressed. - To reiterate. the car runs and drives but is registered nonoperational in California. The car is being sold as is with no implied warranty or guarantee. - It's a 30 year old car the has been sitting. driven less than 10k miles in the last 6 years. Everything should be thoroughly checked. especially any rubber parts. before going back on the road.
