A significant improvement to the 993 over preceding 911s is the implementation of an all-alloy multi-arm rear suspension attached to an all-alloy subframe. It required the aforementioned widening of the rear wheel arches, which itself helped the 993's stability. Further, the 993's optional all-wheel drive system was refined over that of the 964, without having to suffer compromises in understeer. New dual-flow exhaust, larger brakes with drilled discs, and revised power steering helped propel this final air-cooled Porsche into an automotive legend.

320491 was sold new just 2 miles from our facility here in Houston, TX on December 28, 1995 in Iris Blue over Classic Grey upholstery in AWD configuration. Options included: Becker Porsche CR radio, 18" Technology wheels (lightweight hollow spoke), power seats, automatic speed control and electric sunroof. The 911 remind with its original owner until early 2008 when it was traded in at Porsche of West Houston and in turn acquired by its second caring owner. The Carrera remains very original, retaining all factory accessories including manuals, books, directories and cards in leather case, both keyed remotes with return tag, tool roll, air compressor with accessories, spare assembly with bag and gloves, along with Porsche protective hood bra and supplemental floor mats. The paint meter readings are consistent (see chart) and the interior remains in beautiful condition as does the undercarriage. CarFax and Autocheck report a clean history. Consistent servicing records from 2008-Present accompany the sale.
