Selling a "Barn Find" Porsche 914. This Porsche was stored indoors in the dry mountains of Colorado for the last 20 years or so. I towed it out, cleaned up some things, and am only selling to fund a recently found very rare UR Quattro project.
Highlights are a very dry and rust free chassis without the heavy rot you see in some of these. Even the battery box area is in decent shape. There is a dent on the passenger door which is shown, and the rocker right behind the passenger front wheel is kinked, but that should be easily fixed.
Car starts on battery and fuel pump, but it will definitely need the tank cleaned out and a new fuel pump installed to consistently run on it's own power. The good news is these tanks are very easy to remove and replace and can be cleaned or you can source a used one. Also factor in that you will need new tires to be roadworthy, a new battery, and it will need general reconditioning typical of a car stored in a barn for the last 20 years.
All lights tested and working. Brakes working. Comes with the original wheels and all 4 hubcabs.
Interior is OK, seats are there but drivers side has some rips/tears. Will need a new glove box as a mouse took residence there, it's been cleaned, but better to find a replacement. Needs a drivers side window glass. Targa top is working and all latches are in place. I pulled a couple loose wires on the cassette deck out so it's not currently hooked up. Windshield is good, and wipers are working. Gauges are working.
Please look over the pictures and ask all questions before auction ends. You can call me directly at 720-900-6395. Thanks, Matt
