Description

Up for sale is a 2002 Porsche Boxster S that has seen better days.

This car started life as a Boxster S and was modified when new By Roock in Atlanta Georgia with a Porsche 911 S engine.

Later in life (August of 2015 to be exact) the car suffered a sideswipe accident, which totalled the car.

At around the same time, we had a customer who owned a 2004 Boxster Base that had recently lost an engine due to the dreaded IMS problem. So we purchased this car from the insurance company, took the 911 S drivetrain out of it, and put that engine into our customer's Boxster. For sale here is what remained after that project was completed. This would be the perfect project for someone who has another Porsche engine around or perhaps wants to do some kind of V8 or other enigne conversion.

The car had recieved a brand new convertible top shortly before the accident, which is still in like new condition, and the rest of the interior is also in excellent condition. The top and interior are a dark blue color. The ododmeter on the car reads 39683 miles as it sits.

This car does include the blown engine from the 2004 Boxster, as well as the 5-speed transmission from that car.

The Boxster S brakes have been removed from the car. a Set of base Boxster brakes are on this car currently and come with it.

All parts shown in the pictures are included and come with the car. What is shown in the pictures is what you get!

Roock parts that are still on the car and come with it are the coil over struts, wheels and body panels.

As noted the car was in a sideswipe accident and damage was mostly to the front end including front bumper, right fender, and left headlight area. Also minor damage occured on the rear bumper. This accident is reported on the CarFax as "moderate damage" but the car does still have a CLEAN TITLE! This is an ambitious project so please make sure you look closely at the pictures and included parts.

This car is owned by a dealership so approriate sales tax does apply to the sale.
