944 ORIGINAL PAINT & INTERIOR, 96K, VERY GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION, WELL KEPT CAR

1985 Porsche 944. Up for auction is a very original. and in good condition 1985 Porsche 944. I have owned over a dozen Porsche 944s over the past twenty five years and this car. in my opinion. checks all the boxes that people like to see in these cars. The paint looks to be totally original and in very good condition. as is the interior. The leather on both front seats looks to have been lightly used and both have almost the same level of wear (usually drivers seat is much more worn than the passengers side). The carpets are in good condition. and the previous owner has added Porsche option "wicker" floor mats. Overall. the interior has a very original feel and even still has a little of that Porsche "new car smell". The gauges all work. including the clock. the power windows and power roof work (only the power hatch release button does not work). The windows have a nice darker than factory tint. the dash does have a replacement dash cap because the original dash has begun to crack somewhat. The car runs well. and steers/stops well too. It has passed California smog. The heater works. and the air-conditioning cooling fan comes on but the a/c compressor does not engage (may need service or replacement). The tires have even wear and are Pirelli P6000 and have 60% tread remaining. The car shows pride of ownership with some nice touches; it has a Porsche bra. factory over-mats. Porsche tail-light filler panel. 911 color coded rims (even most of the rims center caps point to the air valve. I've been told that it's the way they left the factory). A friend of mine feels confident that this car is of good enough quality to belong at any Porsche club meet. This is a good used classic Porsche 944. it was donated to a children's charity. Unfortunately. somewhere between being donated and sold. the owners manual and any other documentation were either misplaced or not turned in. The car has a clean CARFAX and AutoCheck report that reflects the mileage on the car. and it comes with one key that works the door locks and ignition switch. Also. I noticed that the factory jack/spare/tool kit are in the car. but the factory spare tire inflation compressor is not there (probably taken by someone). As a side note. there is a decal on the back hatch TCB & lightning strike. I looked this logo up on the internet and it stands for Elvis's backup band "Taking Care of Business"; I haven't been able to link the past owner directly to the band but I assume there is some kind of connection :)NOTE****** zero feedback bidders. contact us before bidding or you bid will not be accepted.
