Summary: 2010 Porsche Boxster. 23398 miles. 255 HP 9A1 flat-six. 6-speed manual. Ruby Red Metallic over black leather. color matched hard top. clean Carfax. full 20k service. excellent condition inside and out. Options: Ruby Red Metallic Color matched hard top Thicker sport steering wheel Heated steering wheel Heated seats Bixenon lights with dynamic cornering Sound package plus Automatic climate control Floor mats Universal audio interface (3. 5mm input) Bluetooth phone 19” Carrera S wheels In the following paragraphs I will describe this Boxster in excruciating detail. Exterior: As you can see from the photos. the exterior of this Boxster is exceptionally nice. There are no signs of any paintwork. it presents as a very well taken care of car. The paint has a fresh clay bar. polish. and Zaino wax. giving it a beautiful deep shine. free of any swirls or imperfections. Ruby Red Metallic is a really nice. deep color that looks great on the Boxster. especially with a black interior. I honestly can’t over-state how great the paint looks. it is a beautiful car. The front end has a full clear bra. as do the mirrors and back edges of the front doors. The body is very straight except for two small nicks in the front bumper cover. and a small scrape on the right front fender that has been professionally touched up. Rock chips are very few on the front end. just a very light peppering. The optional 19” Carrera S wheels were just professionally refinished and look like new. As you would expect from a convertible that also has a hard top. the top is in excellent condition. Side marker lights have been replaced with Porsche clear lights. orange originals are included. Overall it is a very nice looking car in a different and tasteful color. Interior: As you would expect of a car with 23k. the interior is nearly new. As a friend commented when he sat in it. “this smells like the new one I just saw at the dealer”. Interior plastics are excellent. with no wear or scratches. The carpets are flawless as well. no stains. tears. or wear. Every feature works exactly as it should inside. zero issues. The hatchback and front trunk area are both clean as well. and the front trunk inflation and tool kit is present. Again. a very nice car that has been well kept and very lightly used. Mechanical: Just a fantastic driving Boxster that needs nothing. The 9A1 motor is the latest architecture that does not utilize an IMS bearing. making one potential 987 concern disappear. The engine is smooth and powerful without any caution lights. Over-rev report available. no revolutions in ranges 3-6 which is exceptional. Clean Durametric scan with no faults. No leaks or smoking. The suspension is tight with a great ride/handling balance. no clunks or vibrations. Steering is tight without pulling or vibration. a four wheel alignment was just completed. Brakes are powerful with a solid pedal. good pads. no vibration on braking. The shifter and transmission are positive and smooth. no popping out of gear or grinding. Clutch is strong without any slipping. nice and light with a low release point. Tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 with approximately 5/32 tread front and rear. The 20k service was just performed. which includes air filter. pollen filter. and an oil and filter change. A four wheel alignment was also performed. At this point it is a turn-key car that is up to date on book maintenance and needs nothing. no issues. As you would expect of such a low mileage car. it drives essentially like new. Needless to say it is fantastic to drive. as are all of the 987s. Quick. ultra-responsive. and just a ton of fun. Flaws: I firmly believe in full disclosure when selling cars. I am an enthusiast and have bought a number of cars online. I model my selling on my own experiences. I am also incredibly particular about cars. most of the noted flaws are not immediately obvious. On the outside there are a few very light rock chips up front in the clear bra. two nicks in the bra on the front bumper. the front license plate holes have been filled with color matched bumper plugs. one small nick on each door that have been touched up. one small scratch on the hard top that has been touched up. and the right front fender has a small scrape and very light indentation near the side marker light that has been professionally touched up. All of the visible flaws are detailed in the pictures. The interior has a very light scratch on the edge of the driver’s side door handle. These flaws all require close inspection to see. it is a very nice car. Overall this car looks every bit like a car with 23k. Which is to say. nearly like new.
