This car is particularly handsome in design. with features such as louvred bonnet & scuttle. very stylish newly made wings. with ‘trouser crease’ incorporated. this being a part of a major renovation carried out in very recent times. only being completed in 2014. The rejuvenation consisted. amongst other things. of fully renewing the ash frame work. (photos of work progressing are available). full re-paint. complete re-upholstery and re-trim. full engine overhaul. new clutch. re-cored radiator. six new Dunlop tyres new stainless steel exhaust system to correct design. new brake linings. new spring gaiters. full re-wire. etc. etc. the list goes on. The appearance of the car is further enhanced by P100 headlamps. a full set of ‘Ace’ wheel discs and chrome waistband moulding. The car retains its original engine. No. C5U. It is fair to say that some finishing work is required. and for example the standard of the paintwork in some areas leaves something to be desired. and the door shut lines would benefit from attention. Overall however. the car represents good value for money. and is available for very considerably less than the cost of the work done. The last owner only disposed of the car due to his wife being taken seriously ill. but otherwise would have attended to the details and finished the car for his own use.
