hi we have had no problems with the brakes in the last 17 years we have used dot 4 fluid when needed.theres no smoke on start up or any time and the engine is really quiet. a small leak from the trans but i think its from the cooler lines just a drop on the floor after sitting all week.carbs were rebuilt last year with all new parts including diaphrams.windows work really well.seats work as they should.some rust repair under the front and rear bumper but none elsewhere on the car.front and rear bumpers are 80 out of 100 no real rust but scratched shine is a bit thin the rest of the cars chrome is in good condition.paint is 17 years old and is still shiny but has some cracks here and there.door seals and window seals are all in good shape.hope this answers some of you questions regards dezlyn68
