1970 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Cab Off Restored

Muscle Car GarageWe are a private collection of 60's and 70's muscle cars. We also do restorations in our two locations in the Jacksonville and Orlando area. From time to time we decide to offer one of our collector cars up for sale. Our vehicles are usually full "nut and bolt" restorations and are the quality of a regional or local show car winner. Many of our cars are previous trophy winners. We are not dealers just car enthusiasts who have been collecting cars for years and performing restorations to the level of regional show car quality. We are not a concourse restorer. and many of our cars are trailered to events but most vehicles can be driven if you choose to do so. Up for auction is our 1970 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Pickup. This was a cab off frame restoration that started about 7 years ago and just completed over the last year. Most everything is either new or restored in that time frame. All metal work has been done including rockers. pans. cab corners. inner fender wells. core support. nbsp;etc. This is a strong rebuilt 350 with a 700R4 Overdrive Automatic Trans and a 12 Bolt Posi Trac rear end. Truck runs and looks great. It has been taken to shows in the area over the last year. All Around Details:Truck is super solid and runs and looks great. Does not overheat and shifts and brakes as it should. Paint is a base coat clear coat Tuxedo Black (non-metallic) and chrome and stainless is all very nice. Truck has been lowered and has great stance with the new wheels (20" Rear and 18" Front). Interior has all been replaced in the last 7 years including a newly upholstered bench seat and all bright work. All weatherstripping has been replaced and window regulators have all been rebuilt. New front and rear glass with seals. Has strong 350 motor with Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and aluminum intake. Headers and dual exhaust out the back. Truck has Power Disc Brake and Power Steering as well as electronic ignition. Exterior Details:All rust has been repaired. Cab & Bed were pulled off the frame about 7 years ago. Frame was painted chassis black and any corrison was repaired with new metal panels including rockers. cab corners. inner fender wells. pans. nbsp;and core support. Bed. cab and rocker mounts are all solid. New front and rear glass has been installed with new seals. Grille is in great condition as well as chrome bumpers. All light lenses have been replaced. Wheels are new Ridler 695's with 20x10 in the rear and 18x8 in the front. Paint is recent Dupont Base Coat Clear Coat in GM Tuxedo Black and is spectacular. Truck has a great stance with the wheel/tire set up. Interior Details:Interior has been completely redone. Everything has been replaced or restored over the last 7 years. Dash pad and custom seat upholstery is very recent. All handles. pulls. nbsp;and dash bright work has been replaced. Truck has the optional gauge package in dash and all dash lighting works. Truck comes with aftermarket CD radio and factory style in dash speaker. Nothing has been overlooked in the interior. Mechanical Details:Original 350 was rebuilt by the previous owner and has less than 10. 00 miles since the rebuild. Motor was rebuilt back to stock except for the Holley aluminum intake manifold. Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. and header exhaust manifolds. Trans is a 700R4. shifts like it should. nbsp;and couples nice to the 12 Bolt Posi Traction rear differential. The entire Power Disc Brake system has been redone. Truck has factory power steering. New alternator. fuel pump. and fuel tank have been installed within the last year. Truck also has electronic ignition. Everything works as it should. All lights. wipers. gauges. dash lighting. radio. etc. I believe the speedometer is not accurate due to the overdrive conversion and also the gas gauge works but when full registers only 3/4 of a tank and when registering 1/4 of a tank is close to empty. (has a new sending unit but something must be wrong with the actual gauge) Also the horn does not work due to the wheel conversion we made. Other that those things I have mentioned everything works as it should. This truck is very reliable and is in great shape mechanically. Summary:This is a super nice restored shortbed C-10 with some great upgrades. It look and drives as it should and the new owner will be proud to take to local car shows and cruise ins to enjoy. There are no surprises. This is a rust free example and pretty much everything over the last 7 years has been replaced. restored. or rebuilt.
