Description

For sale is my 1973 MG-B Roadster Convertible. I owned this car for 5 years and I bought it in Kentucky. This MG is in very good condition and is looking for a good driver. Engine and transmission are very strong. Nice shiny paint. A/C has slow leak and needs to be recharged; last season it worked very well. The interior is in good condition, eats have no cracks. The steering is tight and smooth. You can drive this car cross country with no hesitation. I made couple long trips including Maine, ermont and upstate NY with zero problems. I do not see any rust problems looks like former owner fixed right side floor, body is strong no door cracks. In the past three years I rebuilt or exchange following:

A/C update:

Since I had so many questions about the A/C leak. I took the car to a local A/C professional to find out where the problem is and how much it would cost for repair. They tested the system and found out there is a leaking gasket under the side plate of the compressor. (It is not the main seal), n order to fix it, he plate from the compressor needs to be removed and a $5 gasket needs to be replaced.) The estimated cost of labor and parts is between $100 - $150. This is a brand new compressor which I installed 1 year ago which unfortunately has a faulty gasket. Since the A/C issue is a big concern of so many potential buyers and I do not have a lot of time to deal with this issue I will deduct $150 from the price of the car. If you can do it yourself it will cost you the price of the gasket and a couple cans of R-134A Freon. (The system was converted from R-14 to R-134A when the compressor and dryer were replaced a year ago.)

Thank you for looking.
