1948 MGTC ROADSTER. BRITISH RACING GREEN WITH BLACK TRIM. WIRE WHEELS. EXCELLENT OLDER RESTORATION. This car was recently purchased from the state of Massachusetts. but spent most all of it's life in the ownership of a family in Florida. where the car was very well-preserved. This MG was comprehensively ground-up restored there. and is still presenting extremely well. It is fitted with an alloy/wood steering wheel. The body and paintwork is extremely nice as well as all of the brightwork. Panel fit is very good. A new wiring harness was fitted during the restoration. It still retains it's original Lucas headlamp set. The dashboard and instruments are very pretty. There are some appropriate dress-up alloy components fitted to the engine which gives it a competition look. An alternator has been fitted for reliability. The car starts on the button and runs extremely well with great oil pressure and no smoke. It runs. drives. shifts. and stops as expected. This lovely car offers very good value in the current market when one considers current restoration costs. It has excellent. fresher cosmetics compared to some of it's tired-looking counterparts. It's presented in a period-correct and suitable color scheme. This car is located in Southern California and can be viewed by appointment. It is sold with a clear MA title.
