1954 MG TF

Here is a wonderful opportunity to own an iconic British MG from the vertical grill era of roadsters.

Most TFs were produced for export to the United States with left hand drive but yet were very popular in England. This beauty was originally exported to Australia and is in the rare right hand drive configuration. It was then imported to the US in the late 1970’s where it was owned by a school teacher in Pennsylvania until the late 1990’s and then sold to the current owner who had it completely refurbished and the engine overhauled. It has been driven about 7,000 miles since.

The body is solid and rust free as are all the under car parts. The paint has a good shine and is in overall very good condition. There are some minor chips and scratches as you would expect in a car that has been enjoyed and driven for many years. This is not a “don’t touch” show car or a flashy rebuilt California via China parts car. This is an honest to goodness British sports car to be proudly driven and enjoyed.

The interior is in very good condition and the original red leather seats are faded and cracked but usable with no rips or tears. All the gauges and switches function as they should and of course the dials are in the classic MG octagonal shape that is unique to this type.

Other features are the rare wire wheels, onogrammed spare tire and tonneau covers. Top and side curtains are all in good condition soft and pliable with clear windows.

This car has been lovingly maintained by the current owner. It has been warm garaged during the winters and basically driven each year May through September on lovely sunny days. The car is located in the Milwaukee, isconsin area.

The condition overall is excellent. The exterior is black and the interior is red (faded to a lovely pink – girls LOVE it…) and the odometer reads at 77,367 miles. As is the 54 TFs, t is a 2 door convertible/cabriolet style car with a front mounted engine powering the rear wheels. The engine is 1250 cc, aturally aspirated, verhead valve, cylinder developing 65bhp

This is an honest, onderful, exy, un British sports car that will give the new owner many years of service and pride of ownership.
