I have owned this Mercedes Wagon now for eight years and truly enjoyed it. but now the family has just too many classics. so I must let it go. I have kept it mechanically sound by my Mercedes mechanic. and it is in very good running order. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Engine is strong and quick (for a diesel). It is quite economical getting 28 mpg. Transmission functions just fine. Always starts right up. Brakes are in good shape. Electrical works well. Heater is strong. It has a nice new CD player. It is a very reliable practical car that will last a long time. The engines on these are known to last 500. 00 or more. Of course. it could be converted to bio-diesel if one is so inclined. It has the original bright signal red paint. Body is in very nice shape. The dash is excellent--no cracks! The paint is not mint by any means but looks like new from a few feet away. It makes a very good appearance. and I still get lots of compliments on it. It drives very nicely and is highly reliable. It has a few items that could be repaired fairly easily if you should choose to do so (I haven't as they have not been that important to me). The odometer stopped at 231K about 20K miles ago. The two rear side windows do not work. nor does the AC (but all the equipment is there). The upholstery is in pretty good shape--no tears. but some cracking and discoloration in a few places--still quite acceptable. The headliner in the back has come down a bit in a couple of places. I would say that if you want a showroom perfect vehicle this is not for you. but if you want one that still looks very nice and gets compliments and is reliable. this could be for you. As I stated. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country. but it is a 1984. and because of its age. I sell it with no warranty. Please only bid if you are serious. I really need the space----so it is being sold with No Reserve-- so you may get it for not much. Thanks for looking!
