You are viewing a 1963 MG Midget that has been family owned for many years. It was restored in the mid 80's and has been been garaged stored and well preserve for it's entire life. It is a collectible "early" example with side curtains which was a continuation of the MGA model from the previous year. Considered by many to be the most desirable in it's purist form. Very few miles were put on the MG over the years being used around town during the summer months. It has not has been taken out for the last few years.

Mechanically the MG is in good condition. Looks completely correct under the hood. The engine starts easily with no issues. Has new battery and does not have any problems with the charging system. New fuel pump. Engine shows good oil pressure at idle. Does have some smoke out the tail pipe. Transmission works as it should with no noises. Clutch slave cylinder is leaking a bit and should be rebuilt/replaced. Right front brake caliper is sticking a bit. Exhaust is quiet and sounds good. Will need a new starter "pull start cable" - currently has a generic cable that is not working correctly. You can start it by pulling the cable/housing under the dash. Does not have the typical British oil leaks.

Body: The body has been well preserved as shown in the pictures. It had a color change in the mid '80's - the original blue color can be seen in the engine compartment which is the only portion of the car that was not repainted red. The panel fit is excellent including both doors which close nicely and do not have the typical chips around the door surround. The paint finish is looks very nice considering it's 30 years old. There are a few bubbles that have surfaced over that time period which are quite minor. The floors were repaired/patched at the time of the restoration - not factory correct, ut very solid Bumpers/Chrome in good condition. All exterior body trim in nice condition and fit properly.

The Interior is in very nice condition as shown in the pictures. It shows beautifully with near perfect seats, oor panels and cockpit trim. The carpet is in good condition as well. All gauges in good condition and are in working properly. Lights and blinkers are all working as they should. Fitted with newer style seat belts for safety. Windshield in good condition. Windshield gasket at the body is in excellent condition and does not have the typical cracks found on early British Cars.

Fitted with original factory side curtains that are in very nice condition. Convertible top in excellent condition and fits nicely. All snaps and attachments in good condition and fitted. Rear windows in very nice shape as shown in the pictures.

The MG is being sold in "as is" condition with no warranty expressed or implied. I cannot be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies that may have been inadvertently been provided.
