1961 MGA “Lots of recent work, lovely car both mechanically and cosmetically”
VIN GHNL96285
The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this lovely 1961 MGA. You are looking at an excellent car, that was just the recent recipient of more than $13,000 in bodywork and upgrades. Believed to be a 4 owner car, she has clearly had sympathetic restoration work done over a drawn out period of time. The car runs and drives beautifully. The 1600cc engine starts and runs well, is smooth, and has good power. The engine compartment is clean and tidy. The paint shows good depth and luster and has few blemishes. The interior was replaced, including new seat covers, carpets and dash trim. A new Radio/cd player was installed. The chrome is excellent as is the trim around the car. The car runs cool, and all systems, including heat work, as they should. The convertible top is excellent and the top mechanism works as it should. The car comes with side windows. The trunk was also carpeted, and she has a wire spare wheel and tire. She rides on painted wire knock-offs, and Vredistein radial tires. The underside of the car is excellent, all floors and frame sections were replaced at a cost of $13,000!!! She is now as solid as the day she was built!!! The car is an excellent driver and needs nothing except a proud new owner!!! This car is mechanically and cosmetically excellent, and drives beautifully. Please feel free to call us at 203 256 9800 or email to Steven@classiccargallery.com if we can answer any of your questions.
