Time to trim the car collection down a bit. Up for sale is my 1980 MGB-LE roadster. This rust free example has the original engine rebuilt and bored out to 1950 cc, a cross flow aluminum head, four port fuel injection controlled by a new Electromotive TECs ECU, Datsun 280Z five speed transmission, and header. The body was stripped and painted in the '90s and is still in very nice driver condition or forless strictly judged shows. A ding on the top of the FR fender and a ding on the trunk could be fixed to make the body truly excellent. The top is canvas (not cheap vinyl), canvas tonneau cover, replacement classic leather seat set from Moss ($1745), aluminum billet window winders, and carbon fiber dash overlay and shift knob. The wheels are rare TSW Alpines from the UK. An ITG Megaflow air filter was added to the induction side, and four ram pipes are also included. I installed a new gas tank and correct steel fuel lines on the high pressure side of the injection system. The car has a new brake master cylinder, vacuum booster, flexible brake lines, rear wheel cylinders, and shoes and pads. A battery cut-off switch was installed in the trunk. The car starts easily, idles, runs shifts, and stops well, and is considerably faster than my stock 1973 MGB.
