Let me start by saying that I really like this Saab. I found it about a year ago. It was a 1-owner, xcellent condition, o rust! Just what I was looking for. It was stored for a long time and needed some attention.
I spent numerous hours refurbishing it, aking sure it was as close to new as possible. Some work was outsourced to a local Saab specialist and the list of what they did is included at the end.
I was thinking of keeping it forever, ntil, everal days ago, purchased a Commemorative Edition with only 70k miles on it.
Mechanically this 900 is very close to 100%. Engine, urbo, ransmission and Clutch all work as they should with no issues. There are no warning lights of any kind. Heat is hot, C is cold. There are no leaks. Break system is completely new.
Interior is clean. Headliner is new. Car smells very nice inside. It was not smoked in. Leather is soft and there are no rips on the seats. Driver seat has some tipical wear on the bolster. Dashboard has tipical cracks. All buttons work. Radio and automatic anthena work as they should. Cruise control works. Windows go up and down. Automatic mirrors work. All lights work.
Exterior is in excellent condition. Paint shines beautifully. There are two very small dents. One on driver side door and one on passenger side door. Paint is not damaged at these spots. There is no rust.
The only thing I know which does not work is a fuel level indicator.
I will consider all reasonable offers.
