2001 SAAB 9-3 VIGGEN RARE - NEEDS FRONT BUMPER (Ebay has bumper) NO RESERVE!!

Purchased this exceedingly rare Swedish land rocket from Copart in San Diego in December only because I wanted the engine from it for a Viggen that I already own. Upon further review, don't want to waste such an easy fix. Just needs a bumper by the looks of the photos. You can find one right here on eBay, just checked and found this one (I copied a photo of it in the last pic - you will of course be responsible for purchasing one yourself:

Missing front bumper, ut must be pretty insignificant according to the Copart photos. These are ALL the pictures from Copart, hat you see is what I saw when I bought it, didn't leave any pictures out. I was going to have it shipped to me (as I live outside Washington but have too many projects - so my loss is YOUR gain). Remember, I've never seen it and can only represent the information provided to me by Copart, ut according to Copart it reportedly runs and drives fine, t really does look like a cheap fix to own a rare car.

First, he Viggen. If you're going to name a car after a fighter jet, it had better be badass, nd the Viggen certainly is. The car is a hotted-up version of the first generation 9-3, he one that debuted in the late 1990s and replaced the iconic 900 with something more modern, more streamlined, nd to the chagrin of some purists, ore GM-y.

But the Viggen was where it was at. The car packed a 2.3-liter engine with a bigger-than-normal Mitsubishi turbo that cranked out 225 (later 230) horses and a whopping 258 pound-feet of torque, umbers that would make it competitive today.

Zero to 60 mph came in the mid-6 second range, nd it also boasted a host of improvements over the base 9-3 like a performance ECU tune, more potent exhaust and intercooler, nd an upgraded chassis, suspension, rakes and sports tires. MotorTrend was right in 1999 to compare it to Saab's version of the BMW M cars.
