This is my wife's old car, he was driving it until May this year when I got her newer car with an automatic transmission. Last summer she burned out the clutchout rather dramatically and shot some shrapnel into the transmission box totally killing the transmission. So in June 2014 the whole transmission was replaced with a less used one that currently has only 56,000 miles on it. It also got a brand new clutch, ll new Monroe struts, ew engine mounts, ew vapor canister, ew oxygen sensor and new spark plugs last summer. I have documentation for all this work too. This summer the battery was replaced and it's been sitting in our garage unused for the past two months. If you do a VIN check you will find that the car was purchased in 2006 in Long Island, Y. It was driven in NY for about two years then we moved to Georgia and South Carolina for 3 years. It has been driven in Ohio for the past 3 years but stored in a garage. It was involved in two accidents, ne side-swipe to the drivers side causing cosmetic damage that was not repaired. The other one was a front end collision at low speed that was repaired, nd I have the documentation of this. The driver side door was not damaged so this is purely a cosmetic defect, hich is why we did not get it fixed. This is the perfect car for a college student or anyone who wants the fun of manual transmission in a reliable Toyota package. It's basically a 160hp Toyota Camry engine in a 2-door Corolla body with 17 inch rims and panoramic sunroof! The windowsare also tinted 30% all-around with a 5% visor on the windshield giving it a sleek appearance and enhancing comfort in the summer. At 5K this car is a steal given the low miles and new clutch and transmission if you are OK with a little cosmetic damage.
