Finally decided to part with a piece of my heart. If you're looking for some gas sipping. wanna be rice burner. 200 hp poser. chain saw sounding. high school prom king runner up car then pass by this one. If you are looking to own something that is a true sports car. an absolute beast of the asphalt. king of rubber neckers. the one parked outside of THAT GUYS house. this is it. This is no pony car. This is like a perfect blended $1000 bottle of whiskey. Looks. smells. tastes so smooth and unique. and yup you guessed it. Its going to put your muscle car loving sweet ass on the ground! Let me give you a little info about my mistress. Purchased in summer of 2002 from crew member of Indy driver Gordon Johncock. The car was built by Motycka Brother's racing in Kalamazoo. Mi in 1986. (The last time I talked to them they still had Contemporary parts available). Since then I have always kept it in the garage with a car cover. and visited often. ask my wife she will confirm. I always did any and all maintenance it ever needed or showed signs it may be needed. Just recently did new oil pan. intake and valve cover gaskets. New right rear Jaguar hub and all u-joints and bearings along with new hydraulic clutch master cylinder. Since I purchased it I have also done new tires. NOS system removed. and just had the engine totally gone through about 500 miles ago. (NOS system still available but trust me you don't need it). Remote oil filter and oil cooler installed and aluminum racing heads added. Reproduction P700's tripod halogen headlights added. Taillights. Lucas front markers and steering wheel are original AC not reproduction. I have been told by many Cobra owners at meets they have never heard one sound like this one. Just a beautiful yet powerful rumble. This car is rock solid and a thrill to drive. The interior looks old but I really like it that way. I have had many people at car shows tap the car to see what the body is made of because they think it’s a real AC Cobra. If you want to turn heads going down the road this will work on every drive. This is as real as you can get without spending over $200. 00. 00 As stated above she does have a few blemishes. all of what are to be expected from something that wasn't a garage queen all day every day. while she is a queen in my heart she loves the open road. A couple starburst (shown) top entry of doors (shown) few chips hear and there (all shown) Under the nose (shown) Seats show wear (shown) and rear view mirror has mark (shown) This is a car you can get out every weekend and drive it and I hope who ever takes her home does. besides you know you wanna hand it to every little punk show off with his over achieving Honda SI. I truly cant explain what this car does to people but. lets just say. you own this. and you are. as said before. THAT GUY. in everyones book. Its straight and true down the road and shifts through all the gears perfect. All the lights work as they should. less the switch to change between the lows and brights. All the tires have great tread and will offer many more miles of smiles. Unless of course you want to mark your territory. The body is not a multiple generation copy of a pattern from an original but is a direct copy. The Martz chassis based from the original tube frame. 4" OD x 1/8" round tube with increased wall thickness that reduces flex that was inherent in the AC's.
