1965 AC Cobra! NAF Body! Over 25k Invested! Huge Loss! 351 Windsor With High Performance World Product Heads. Independent Rear Suspension. 5 Speed Doug Nash Transmission. Corvette Disc Brakes. Mustang II Front End. Holley Double Pumper. Shelby Blue. & Much MUCH More. This Cobra has come a long ways. A countless amount of man hours and over $25. 00 has been invested in to this one of a kind AC Cobra. This Cobra had been owned by the same gentleman since the early 90's. This gentleman is a custom fabricator who has spent his entire life. building custom frames for race cars. This was the car that he always planned to build but could rarely find the time to do so. Located below you will find many photos which reflect the craftsmanship. love. and $$$ that was applied to the build of this Cobra. After purchasing the Cobra. we took and had the body installed on to the frame. We then had the body shot in one coat of Shelby Blue. That is unfortunately as far as we have taken it thus far which is why we have decided to go ahead and let someone else take her to the finish line. We have all of the bid items covered for this build. The 351 Windsor has been gone through and is ready to be assembled. The motor itself I would say is 90% complete. The Doug Nash five speed has been rebuilt and is ready to go. The independent rear suspension is all new and installed. All of the parts that we have are new and are in great condition. She is missing parts but again. the big bases are covered as are the majority of the small bases. Everything we have is new.
